I blame Yuki-chan for my birthstone being pink. True pink tourmaline is a magenta color, which isn't so bad (actually it's kinda nice) but in all the birthstone jewelry they use rose quartz or make an oddly colored fake stone that looks terrible. They always make them the strangest color of pink possible. Bleh.

The original march stone is bloodstone, which is much prettier, but Aquamarine is still pretty too. No one uses Bloodstone anymore either

I've seen many different variations of older birthstone lists, but now there is a standardized one. Personally I love aquamarines. *holds up her aquamarine necklace* At least my alternate birthstone is opal. I love opals, in fact they're one of my favorite gems, but they're too soft for me to wear in a ring. I end up breaking them. And I loose earrings. . .

Don't worry, I'm hard on jewelry too. I had this really pretty butterfly necklace [stones were fake, but soooo pretty.] I kept it on so long [showering and sleeping included] It got worn really fast, and all but one part of the wings fell out.

*deep breath* I blame Dawnius for placing this guy in the hallway at the exact time I happened to be there forcing us to stand together in the hallway being totally shocked at seeing one another and having to make small talk before being like "okay I have to go now, bye" and then the awkward departure which followed the awkward collision.
