So a friend and I want a hotel room, but only if we share with 2 more people. The room would be a 2 double beds and the price split evenly between the four of us. My friend and I are both female and would most likely prefer other females but whatever, seeing if anyone replies. Another problem, neither of us is 21 I don't even know if we can get a room. If anyone is looking for a room please reply and maybe we can work something out.

Yeah, my mom or friends had to check me in, until I turned 21. so.. you'll probably need someone to help you get it.

As long as you have credit it should be no problem. I've checked into hotels before and I'm only 18.
My guyfriend and I (I'm a girl) would be interested. We're both 18. What rate are you getting the room at so we could split costs? I could order the room. I just have to check a few things out first so I'm positive that we'll be going.

I can also bring a cot for another person to sleep on.

That way, we could have a fifth person in the room.

I've checked out the prices a few times and its between $100-80 a night so $25-20 splitting it between the four of us. I can call the hotel later and ask for sure and see if we can check out a room.

I can book it online through Expedia or Hotels.com. It's cheaper that way, because I called in and they want over 100 per night if you book by phone. I've done this before for other conventions, like Anime Detour before, so it's cool by me.
Dylan and I will be driving in, so we won't be there as early as everyone else, but we should be in by the normal 3 pm check-in time. I'll PM you our cell numbers if you're interested to get in contact with us.

Well. I called the hotel. They said they are very strict and wont let anyone under 21 check out a room. Otherwise I'd be all for it. Maybe there's another hotel close by that will let us in unless you got another idea? :(

You could try and find a friend thats 21 to come with or beforehand and check the room in for you? This happened for a room back for anime nebraskon so I told them I would but a roomate the same age got there first and did it for me so everything worked out

I think stuff technically starts around 10 AM, but it doesn't really heat up until the afternoon, as with most normal cons.

They just say that, I've checked out rooms of my own for Sogen each year since I was 18

:P Do ya now? I'm 28. Apparently being the oldest in our cosplay group makes me "Captain Mom". That and I try to keep everyone focused and organized (just so I know what the heck is going on) and it works about as well as herding cats.

I feel for you. At anime conventions my cosplay group friends go to, everyone looks to me to organize stuff. >_<" Several of them call me "Mommy", and I get so many texts during con weekends that when I go to cons on my own, I keep looking at my cell like "Why aren't you ringing? Oh wait, I'm not looking after a gaggle of teenagers..."
It doesn't really help that I led the Burnsville High Anime Club's trip to Anime Detour (As Club President, I had to go through and get all the paperwork. What a pain...). Yeah, picking up 25 different badges for hyperactive club members and their chaperones? And trying to find them? I should've rented a bus instead. Jeez...

Oh, we're on the topic of "Con-Moms"?

I have two play-kids that call me "mommy" and call whoever my boyfriend is "daddy". So far my current and hopefully permanent boyfriend gets a kick out of it. XD

I met them at Anime Los Angeles '09 almost three years ago and now one is 15 and the other is 16. It was their first ever con and I helped them around, even though it was my first time at that particular con. The connection was solid from the start. Both of their families L-O-V-E me for my spunk and personality and I've been "kidnapping" them some days during summer in my "Kaito-Car", taking them to cosplay gatherings and stuff.

Its a real blast being a play-mom! XD
