Okay, so I read that you need an I.D to get your badge, my question is that the person I am going with [I paid for both pledges, but under his and my name, using my mom's debit card.... with permission obviously.] but his I.D was stolen and where I live, it takes 3-6 weeks to get your I.D after applying, cause they mail it to you, and as I've seen, they have problems, for instance, with mine, I had to wait 3 weeks, before I got a letter saying that my picture didn't turn out to be useable, and had to redo it, then wait another 4 1/2 weeks to actually get it. He plans to apply for it in the next few days, but the problem is what to do if it's not here before the convention? Is there any other method to get it, like a birth certificate, or a piece of official mail? cause he's been out of school for more than 10 years, so he has no kind of picture I.D, I'm curious if there's another way, or if he's totally screwed.
