Show us how you waste time between cons.  Because lets face it...life is just that boring space between when we go to cons, right? ;) 

What do you do?  Play with your cats?  Clean your room?  Stuff crap into your friend's lockers at school when they aren't looking?  Work on cosplay?  Show us!!!

Well, part of my time is being spent deciding which costumes I want to bring this year. I have 8-9 ideas for 3 days, and I don't feel like running back and forth to my room or keeping spare costumes in places I plan to be later like I'm a powerless Spider-Man. Here is the small version of my list:
Wolfwood (Trigun) locked in
Mega Man (Capcom games) maybe
Kiba (Naruto) I think I spent too much time putting this together to only have used it once
Rock Lee/Guy (Naruto) I have brought this every year since #2, it doesn't seem right to drop off
Denmark (Hetalia) had a lot of fun last year, and I think more can be done with the costume
And new ones I have not finished yet:
The Doctor (Doctor Who) either #2 or #4, just because they would be good conversation starters
Tsukune (Rosario + Vampire)
Kyouya (OHSHC) plenty of Ouran fans most years

I'm at work nearly all the time, but when I'm not I'm watching anime, reading manga and working on cosplay and steampunk.

Progress photos of my steampunk persona, Elizabeth Victoria Wyndham-Cheung Jin Hua. Orphaned daughter of an English merchant in Hong Kong who eventually made her way to Deadwood, Dakota Territory in the 1880s. She serves as physician to the mercenary airship The Gemini.  I'm still working on the corset, the parasol, the components of my medical cabinet and a lot of weaponry.

Just one thing I wanted to remind you about is make sure you have orange tips on the barrel of your prop guns, or they won't be allowed in the convention.

Ah, good to know.  Do you have the option of tagging?

My steampunk will have a prop Sharps 30-50 rifle hand made by a friend out of wood and other materials.  Since it is not store bought it won't have an orange tip.  I will also have a small, ornate "dagger" which is actually a letter opener. Are those types of items allowed or can they be tagged?

most cons do not allow any metal weapons of any sort. The letter opener is still a metal object, and so probably wouldnt be allowed. If the rifle is a realistic looking weapon, it will not be allowed unless it is orange tipped. This is based on knowledge from alot of other cons. Sogen is redoing its weapon policy and hasnt been reposted yet, but I'm sure it will follow along the same lines.
