I don't mean to be rude/demanding or anything, but it's been over a month now and still no sign of the t-shirt I ordered at the con. I know I'm not alone in this as the guy I went with still hasn't received his either.

Any news on when we can expect them? (If ever)

The printer of the shirts (located in Brookings SD) is working through backlog due to several large orders placed by local high schools and SDSU and has told me that they should be able to get the shirts made some time next week.

Sorry for the delay, but it will be awhile longer before they can be sent. You have not been forgotten!

we passed the information along to the shirt printers. I will check in this weekend with the merchandise department and see what the deal is.

I contacted the staffer in charge of this and they are checking as all information was passed along to the printer for shipping. Will have word to you as soon i hear back.

January 1st, 2011. It's been about 5 months since Sogen-Con and I feel like the $20 I spent on that T-shirt are long gone.

In fact, I'm debating whether or not I even want the T-shirt. I'd rather have my money back. At least then I can spend it on something that might actually get used, or even get for that matter.

I expect to hear an update from the staff on this by at least February 1st. If there isn't a T-shirt at the foot of my door by the end of February, then expect repayments to both me and my friend who haven't received one yet.

I'm posting this on behalf of new chair of Sogencon, Anton.

We are very sorry for causing you and many others who ordered T-shirt at the Sogen, last summer. In late last fall, the former chairman of Sogen resigned and now we have a new chairman. He is aware of this issue and trying to make sure everything and everybody will be taken care of as soon as possible.

I'm currently helping him communicate with Sogen attendees, since he is under extremely busy circumstance. He loves Sogencon and wants it to be a successful convention. Also he wants to keep the communication between him and attendee open. If you have any questions and concerns, please feel free to let us know through this forum.

Again we are very sorry for this delay. We are working on bringing things back on track as soon as we can so that we can start planning for Sogen 2011 soon.

The vendor just notified us that all the shirts have been mailed out last month.
If you haven't received one, please let us know your name and address, so that we can mail one out to you as soon as possible.

Also Sogen 2011 information will be posted in next few days.

Aright, so both Zatsumi and myself have emailed Anton Peterson at the email you provided, Arietta. And quite a while ago, I might add. Not only have neither of us received our shirts, but we never even got confirmation that he received those emails. Add to that the fact the site has been down for around a month, thereby giving us no way to contact anyone.
Come on guys, hasn't this been going on for long enough? At this point, it isn't even about the t-shirt, but the fact that no one involved seems to be doing anything other than wring their hands and assure me that things are being taken care of. Which they clearly are not. Lets get it together, shall we?

Ok, so March is almost over. This is getting very ridiculous, fellas. I agree with Silvid in the fact that not having the T-shirt isn't as annoying as the fact that the ones that should be in charge can only offer sorrys. I am not as annoyed anymore as I am disappointed in what could have been a well-serviced con. I had more gripes with the the con staff and the con itself, but because it does not pertain to the topic, I digress.

My information is in an email I sent to his email previously. Nearly a month ago, too. I will send another one in your direction. This is getting tiring, guys.

Heh. You'll be waiting a while. The DVDs that they were selling featuring video (being done by film crews around the event) from the FIRST Sogen Con still have yet to be seen or refunded. That was in 2005. ^^;;

As for what is going on I am not sure how much I can and can't say, but I can tell you that this year Sogencon has gone through a lot of changes in major staff positions. Because of that we are having issues at time reaching the people (so have disappeared completely) who originally handled these issues.

As for the shirt problem, as stated earlier in this thread, "The vendor just notified us that all the shirts have been mailed out last month."

Because two of you have not received your shirts yet, that is why I asked you to PM me your Names and Addresses so that I could see if maybe they were missing from the list and work with the shirt company to get your shirts sent to you.

Ok, I got Silvid's and Zatsumi information now. It may take a few day's to find out what went wrong, but I will keep you informed. One last question. If for some reason your names were not on the list that we sent to the T-Shirt shop, what size do you need?

Well I still am not getting any information from those in charge so here is my final decision. If I have not received any information about the shop by Friday I will just have to assume that this issue cannot be solved and refund you your money.

Ok, that is good to hear. Not sure what happened to the first two, but i would assume that it was one event that they were both involved in because neither reach their destination.
